Our Classes

All breeds welcome — from Puppy Kindergarten through Competition Obedience

Ages 8–16 weeks

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program — socialization, basic skills, and fun. S.T.A.R. Testing & Certification offered at session end. Runs continuously.

Recall, loose-leash walking, heel, sit-down-stay, and eliminating nuisance behaviors. Two sessions per 6-week period. Rabies vaccination required.

Intermediate

Builds on Beginner with longer stays, hand signals, and CGC / Therapy Dog prep. Positive, fun approach throughout.

3 Tracks

Three tracks: Advanced 1 (general), Advanced BN (Beginner Novice title prep), and Advanced 2 (high-proficiency). 45-minute classes.

Rally

AKC Rally signs — new signs each week, mini run at end of class. PDTC Members receive enrollment preference.

Specialized

For dogs that react to other dogs, people, or distractions. Small class sizes, structured environment. Contact registrar before paying.

By Permission

Novice, Open, and Utility tracks covering all AKC obedience exercises. Instructor permission required.
