Barbara is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) and a member of the National Association of Dog Obedience. Barbara has obtained many advanced AKC Obedience Titles with her dogs. She is also an approved AKC Obedience Judge. Using her years of experience training dogs and working with owners, Barbara assesses the needs of each dog based on age, size and temperament. Her teaching style is clear and easy to understand even for owners who have never trained a dog. Dog and handler alike enjoy her positive approach. Participants interested in training and handling tips for competitive obedience will find Barbara’s instruction invaluable.
Beginner and Advanced Companion
Paulette believes training is a must for all dogs using a positive and fun approach to achieve understanding and communication for both dog and handler. She has trained numerous dogs and has obtained obedience titles on her own German Shepherd Dogs. One of her dogs is a therapy dog at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, proving there are many different ways to enjoy and achieve with your dog. In addition to her role as an instructor, she is currently training two German Shepherd Dogs.
Puppy Kindergarten and Beginner
Carol shares her love for dogs with her students in the Puppy Kindergarten classes and programs. She believes it is very important for young puppies to get the proper socialization and training they need to become good lifetime companions. She stresses the importance of building a strong relationship between puppy and owner by using a positive approach to training. She also reinforces the concept of being a responsible dog owner. Carol strongly believes that every dog should have a background in obedience training. She has taken every dog she has owned to at least one obedience class. Two of her Dobermans have attained advanced titles in competition Obedience and Rally. Carol is a Canine Good Citizen evaluator for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. In addition to her role as instructor, she is currently training two young Dobermans in Obedience, Rally, and Agility.
