On the Thursday night after the conclusion of each Advanced Companion 1 class (approximately every nine weeks), PDTC conducts both the Canine Good Citizen Test and the Community Canine Test (advanced CGC). With proper AKC filing, successful dogs earn the official title of CGC or CGCA.
If you are interested in testing and would like to be placed on the schedule:
- Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Mail a check (made payable to “PDTC”) to the Treasurer in the amount of $25 or
- Make a payment via PayPal (a convenience fee is added)
Approximately one week before the test date, the Registrar will send out the testing schedule. Please arrive 15 minutes before your testing time to complete the AKC paperwork. Testing occurs between 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
